During the Brainfreeze phenomenon, this was one of the harder records to locate.  There have been countless rumors about this, that there were anywhere between 100 to 500 copies pressed.  Like much of the choice cuts on the BF CD, this one originates from Louisiana (Baton Rouge to be exact).  Released in 1976, not much information is known (yet) of this song or Fried Chicken.  Only the diehard funk freaks knew that there was a slightly different version of this called "Funky Black Man", also released by Stone.  This was used on the brand new Product Placement CD.

As far as "Funky DJ", I have my nephew always saying "funky, funky DJ, till the early mornin'!"
